Michael Stephens comes to Men’s Challenge of the Smokies with thirty years of ministry experience. He has served as a Student Pastor, a Church Planter, a Missionary/Evangelist, and as a Lead Pastor. Michael is a graduate of East Coast Bible College majoring in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministries, and is presently completing a Maste
Michael Stephens comes to Men’s Challenge of the Smokies with thirty years of ministry experience. He has served as a Student Pastor, a Church Planter, a Missionary/Evangelist, and as a Lead Pastor. Michael is a graduate of East Coast Bible College majoring in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministries, and is presently completing a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University. Michael also served 4 years as a Medical Corpsman with the United States Marine Corps and completed one deployment in Operation Desert Storm. Michael’s greatest joy is quality time with his wife, Amy, their three children and their four grandchildren.

Jason is our Program Director and graduated from Teen Challenge in 1998 and was on staff at St. Louis TC before attending University of Valley Forge. He was a youth/associate pastor from 2000-2010. From 2010-2012 he worked at Timber Ridge in Cross Junction, VA as a teacher/counselor. From 2012-2018, he was senior pastor at a church in WV. He is currently planting a church as well.

Justin graduated MCS in September of 2019. He came on staff as an intern and now currently serves as our Kitchen Supervisor.

Kyle graduated MCS on July 18, 2020. After working off campus while in the graduate program, the Lord directed him to come back and work on staff. He is thankful to be able to pour into the guys' lives and help those who have come after him in their recovery and their relationship with Jesus Christ. He is currently serving as the Work Detail Supervisor

Nick is currently serving as our Education Director and graduated from MCS on April 16, 2022 and came on as an intern. He has a love for Jesus and a passion for seeing other peoples' lives changed.

Dylan graduated from the Men’s Challenge of the Smokies in 2021 and then went on to serve at Sandhills ATC, where he eventually became the intake coordinator.
